During July 2008 two established firms came together to form Pettifer Homes Direct.
Pettifer Property management has long since had a reputation for offering a highly professional and personal property rental service, handling the rental of over 200 properties in and around Coventry and Warwickshire. They also handled the management of around 150 flats, collecting service charges and managing the maintenance and upkeep of the developments.
Homes Direct has been offering a highly personal property sales service since 1996 where it has built its reputation on providing a highly professional. Personal and cost effective estate agency service. As their reputation grew they achieved a situation where up to 70 % of the properties they handled were recommendations from old clients. This was borne out by a survey conducted on behalf of the Ombudsman for Estate agents that showed that 100% of respondents would use us again, and we had the highest published satisfaction rating of any Coventry Estate agent.

- HIP`s and EPC`s We can organise the Home Information Pack (HIP) necessary for selling your property and the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) required for lettings

The Team:
John Wood is a fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA), Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (MARLA) and has been dealing with property lettings and management for almost 40 years and with Pettifers nearly 30 years. He also manages the many blocks of flats the company has under its direction.
Fran Marsh has been part of Pettifers for 8 years looking after rental landlords, guiding tenants through the application process and generally acting as tenant/landlord liaison. She is Associate of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) qualified and multi-lingual which is extremely useful for overseas tenants and landlords.
Sandra Cuthbert is our Property Negotiator and has worked within the industry for over 20 years. Her experience includes working for Estate Agents both independent and national chain, selling new homes for national house builders such as Barratt, Beazer, Wimpey and Redrow Homes and also has a particular expertise in overseas property.
Kerri Barwell has joined us from a local firm of solicitors to act as our front line, dealing with tenant and landlord initial enquiries.
Paul Chillingsworth FNAEA (Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents) will head the company. He has been an estate agent dealing in property sales and lettings in Coventry for over 30 years, having worked for some of the best-known names in the city. He became a partner of one Coventry’s oldest established firms in 1990 and then went on to set up Homes Direct in 1996. |
